Anyone else noticed how many ebay sellers claim
to have haunted things? They're often dolls but
i've seen 1 seller who claims everything is haunted--haunted Christmas ornaments, haunted blouse, haunted picture frame. Today i saw haunted rings all over the place. They usually claim that they belonged to some old lady who has since passed on. I've yet to see a "haunted" object that belonged to a man. What do you thing about these things?

I love looking at the "haunted" stuff. I often search ebay simply for "haunted" items. This probably shows that I procrastinate far too much, but I really love reading the summaries, and then updates (if they go all out), and videos and things like that that people will put up to "verify" their stories.

I remember a haunted Stitch plushie awhile ago, they went ALL out, videos, updates like 5 times a day on how much havoc the thing was causing, it was fun.

OOH I love these things!! They crack me up. I have seen things owned by men.. such as a pair of dice, nails, etc.

My husband is a watchsmith and we sell antique pocket watchs on ebay every so often (its really a hobby of his not a business). I came up with a whole elaberate story on the fly one day how I was going to list a pocket watch as haunted. People pay UNGODLY for haunted objects... and in my experince if it isn't a scam you would want the thing in your house in the first place! If you really want a haunted object for a hundred bucks I'll go out and wrestle the ghost for you! LOL

In my husband's pocket watch collection we probably have the closest thing to a haunted pocketwatch... that being a death portrait pocket watch that belonged to a man... Other than having a dead woman's picture diliberatly imprinted upon it in the early 1900's there's not much to do about it.

Speaking of occult issues, like "haunted" items is very offensive to some people in our membership. It also is considered a religious topic to some members, so I would appreciate it if no more threads were started on this topic. So I am deleting the other thread that is related to this topic.

We also prefer to focus our threads primarily on AG topics and life-giving topics and mutual support topics.

In addition, we do not post links for ebay items, except in specifically allowed situations. Please check the rules.

    Thanks for your cooperation,
    Joy
